My application has been approved and I want to conduct animal breeding. Are there any extra rules I need to keep in mind?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
A specific breeding cage ID tag must be attached to the cage that conducts animal breeding or is lived in by a pregnant animal. This ID tag should be updated instantly whenever the cage status is changed (eg, move-in or out of breeding stock\/parturition\/weaning\u2026), to match the actual status.

Once the cage is no longer used for breeding (eg, female mice are moved out or all the pups are weaned\u2026), please update the ID tag<\/strong> for the last time, and submit it to the animal center office<\/strong> as breeding records. Do not discard<\/strong> the breeding ID tag.

Warp the carcasses with plastic bag\/zipper bag, weight, and then place the dead animals into the refrigerator. The procedure room 1 (room 17-22) is for mice carcasses; the procedure room 4 (17-31) is for rats. For SPF area, use the refrigerator in the instrument room (17-14). Next, fill in the form “Dead Animal Storage Record” (\u52d5\u7269\u5c4d\u9ad4\u5b58\u653e\u7d00\u9304\u8868), which is on the refrigerator door.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
